Ida best checking in. This year has been really good to me. I found a foster home that is ready to foster me until I find my FUREVER family. I am really loving my new foster family. I get so much attention being the only one. I just have so much love to share. Are you willing to open up your home for endless kisses and snuggles?
I am checking with my fan group. I have recently been told that I can not live with cats or little dogs as I think they are toys, so I need a home with NO CATS or SMALL DOGS. I do well with polite big dogs and I love to alternate between gentle play, naps, and treats. I also love little humans.
With all the medical appointments I have had recently to figure out what is up with my tumor, we still don't have all the answers. I have a little bit of a hiccup with my non-tumor back leg so the doctors think that a full leg amputation would not be a good idea as it will put too much stress on it. And the tumor itself can not be removed safely. Thankfully I am unbothered by the tumor and barely notice it, nor does it hinder my daily life!
I will need a home with the understanding that this tumor might be a bit tricky if it keeps growing and what to expect if and when something happens to it!
*New to rescue*
My name is Ida Best and I am the best. I was found wandering the streets of Dallas TWICE in the last year and this last time, my family didn't reclaim me. I have a large mass on my back leg and some fur loss but I still am in happy and sweet spirits. I love to be covered by a blankie and I pout when I have my sweaters in the wash.
Stay tuned as we get some idea of what is medical going on with sweet Ida Best.
