UPDATE 9.21.23

Tillie is doing well. She’s growing every day learning how to become a pet instead of just a breeding dog. She’s getting a lot of help from our personal dogs learning routines. We’re still working quite a bit on house training. She’s growing pretty accustomed to her foster mom, being she’s home all day, and feeds them. She’s earned more trust from Tillie. The foster dad is still getting there, but she is occasionally taking treats out of his hand as long as he doesn't approach her, and she approaches him with his hand outstretched. If he tries to move towards her, she’ll turn around run. Tillie goes outside with the other dogs with foster mom's supervision. She does her zoomies and all of her bounces. She’s growing!

UPDATE 9.2.23

I've been rescue for a month now. The first night in foster care was pretty scary. Iwas completely shut down out of fear. I got to hang out in a quiet corner in the kitchen by myself to decompress. I whined all night, but cowered when my fosters came to check on me. I didn't eat the first day....my fosters tried so streets of tasty things to entice me, but I did end up eating the second night while the rest of the house was asleep. Fast forward to now, I'm eating regularly. I'm catching on to housetraining - probably 50% mastered. My foster mom is home all day so I've gotten pretty used to her. I will take treats from my foster dad and sniff him, but I'm not ready for him to pet me on the head yet. I'm slowly learning to trust him. I've just recently decided my foster mom is safe enough to lay at her feet or rest my head on her legs for pets while she's watching TV. I'll make a sweet addition to any family as long you realize I just need time to heal and it makes take a while for me to learn to live a normal dog life. Some puppy mill dogs never figure it out, but hopefully I will!

NEW TO RESCUE 8.5.23

I'm Tillie. I came from a puppy mill like Millie, but I'm more timid and reserved than her.  I'm fairly scared of most things,  but I want so badly to be excited too! I need another dog to show me the ropes of 'how to dog'. I run for a second with the other dogs and I'll even pick up a toy,  but it stops there.... I just don't know what I'm supposed to do.  What is this game of chase? I want human attention, but please give me time and space to aacclimate. I appear to be housebroken.
