*Update 7/31/2023 Duke- is potty trained- had only one poo in the house- drinks a large amount of water but will go out when asked and nearly always will pee- no potty accidents- we put a treat in the kennel so he will go in but then he settles and lies down- loves treats and food- eats quickly- sits for treats- have him wait until our other two have finished otherwise he will try to steal theirs but does well w/ this- enjoys toys- not generally destructive but will chomp on them until they no longer squeak- will pull moderately when on leash and curious about others but not reactive- I'd be willing to bet that he is part Labrador based on appearance/ behaviors- boxador- tries to eat tissues-displays mouthy behavior and as he gets more excited or agitated pressure may increase to where it seems he like he will bite- has not broken skin but it does cause discomfort-is not kenneled at night- sleeps in our bed, couch, or dog bed- is kenneled when we are not home (mostly for work)- needs more training riding in truck- doesn't like to stay in back Likes to cuddle/snuggle- he is a BIG BOY- large paws and head- super cute, friendly, sweet- areas that need improvement are listening and manners but they have come a long way already!
*Update* I am settling in to my foster home! I have had no potty accidents, settle into my crate when motivated by a treat, and am food motivated! Watch me sit and snuggle for a delicious treat! I like to snuggle and am noted for my large paws and head! I am super cute, friendly, sweet, and could us e some help on manners, but, who doesn't?

Minnesota Boxer Rescue
Bringing a Boxer into your home and your life is a major decision.
It brings with it responsibility and commitment, but it also renders supreme joy, laughter, and sadly but inevitably, tears.
No one of us who has ever shared his life with a Boxer would have it any other way.
